End of the World? Covid 19 Takes Over.

Social distancing isn't all that odd for parking lot stripers. We often work in the middle of the night, but oddly now the lots are also empty during the daytime. We recently contracted with the largest grocery chain in the US to do their lots and while working all over the Midwest we've had a pretty good look at the panic you hear about. Over the past few days in March of 2020 we've been in grocery stores all over the place and have seen states close down, and panic set in. It's interesting to see people talk about toilet paper shortage because we really haven't seen that out here. The toilet paper might not be the kind you want and it might take some time to find it but the grocery chains are doing an excellent job of cleaning and restocking. Make no mistake, we are worried about the virus itself not only for us, but for others we come in contact with. We try to never stay in hotels, and it costs a little more to make one day long trips in order to do that. Now, we're interested in figuring out how we can help small businesses like ours survive. We are lucky in that we are one of the only companies working during this time, and so it makes sense that we should be giving back. Right now, we're trying to do a 1 for 1 which means for every big corporate lot we do, we'll go do someones restaurant that's closed down for free. That's the goal. We aren't hero's, people are doing it for us to and it makes sense to do our part. If you happen to be a facilities manager in the Midwest and would like a large property painted, lets do it and then go use that to do one for free. Email us at Benjamin@weparkstriping.com
Be safe everyone! See you out there.
